Chalawsaf investigated this news with independent sources, including officials from three media outlets in Afghanistan and the Afghan Journalists’ Safety Committee. All these sources rejected the news as false.
Officials from the three media outlets confirmed to Chalawsaf that they have not faced any such ban so far, and Taliban authorities have not mentioned anything regarding this matter.
